AIM/PURPOSE
To develop knowledge and understanding of the application of further fundamental electrical and electronic principles.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:
1 Demonstrate an understanding of, and apply fundamental principles of electromagnetism, electromagnetic induction.
2 Demonstrate an understanding of, and apply fundamental principles power in AC circuits and circuit theorems.
3 Demonstrate and understanding of, and apply fundamental principles of digital electronics, integrated circuit analogue amplifiers.

● Basic electromagnetism and inductance, induction laws *
● AC power circuit theory, single and three phase circuits *
● Series and parallel resonant circuits *
● Circuit theorems, Thevenin’s, Superposition
● Linear operation of BJT and MOSFET amplifiers

● Boolean logic and logic gates, combination logic
