AIM/PURPOSE
To apply theoretical knowledge and understanding of general fundamental electrical and electronic principles.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:
1 Demonstrate an understanding and apply fundamental principles of sequential logic operation and gate arrays.
2 Demonstrate and understanding and apply fundamental principles of electronic linear and switching supplies.
3 Demonstrate the use of electrical measuring equipment.
4 Describe and apply diagnostic processes to faults in electrotechnology equipment.
5 Construct and test an electrotechnology product.
