Endorsed Diploma in Engineering - Engineering Technician

The Endorsed Diploma is recognition of your work experience and competency as an engineering technician. It requires an additional 60 credits assessed in the workplace and the completion of the NDE.

This diploma is open to both Graduates and current students of the NDE and starts by entering into a training agreement with Competenz (the engineering training organization). Graduates will gain experience in the workplace and with the help and guidance of Competenz, will complete reports detailing their practical experience as an engineering technician and gain credits towards this endorsement. Current students who may be undertaking part time study can start on their workplace assessment while still studying towards the NDE.

Graduates from the Endorsed Diploma will gain recognition through IPENZ and be able to register with them as an Engineering Technician. Refer to the IPENZ Website for more details.

When you contact Competenz, they will supply you with a training booklet outlining the details of the endorsed diploma and training assistance that they will provide. Please email an enquiry to competenz HERE
